1. What we set
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-* | Keeps you signed in | While signed in | Strictly necessary |
jt_lang, jt_country | Remember your language and country | Up to 1 year | Strictly necessary |
jt_join | Carries a team invitation through sign-up | 24 hours | Strictly necessary |
jt_intro | Remembers that you have seen the opening animation | Until you close the browser | Functional |
jt_vid | Random visitor ID for anonymous visit statistics (also kept in local storage); used to link a visit to a sign-up | 180 days | Analytics |
jt_src | Remembers which ad or link brought you, once, at sign-up | 30 days | Analytics |
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not sell or share data with ad networks, and visit statistics are stored only on our own servers, not sent to an outside analytics company.
2. UK, EU/EEA and Switzerland
If you are in the UK, the EU/EEA or Switzerland, we do not set the two analytics items (jt_vid, jt_src) at all, and we do not record your visit, so there is nothing to accept or decline. The other items are needed for the site to work or to remember a choice you made.
3. Your choices
Elsewhere you can block cookies and site data in your browser settings. The site and your account keep working, though blocking the sign-in cookie signs you out and stops you from staying signed in. More on what we collect and your rights: Privacy Notice.
